Pasta basil, red pepper and orange sauce

    Red pepper
  • 50 g
    Basil leaves
  • 500 ml
    Tomaten passata
  • 100 ml
    Cooking cream

Enjoy this simple vegetarian pasta that you made super fast. With the basil leaves you create a real Italian taste and give the sauce extra texture.

    Cut the red pepper into thin strips. Cook the pasta according to the package.

    Fry the bell pepper on high heat for 5 minutes. Then add the tomato passata and cook over high heat.

    Meanwhile, chop the basil leaves into small pieces of about half an inch.

    Reduce the heat and add the cream and basil leaves. Stir well and let it simmer for a while.

    Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Sprinkle some leftover basil flakes over the pasta.
